I enjoyed War very much. Moving, thoughtful, and beautiful to look at. Andy Serkis as Caesar was terrific. Recommended.
I’m not a fan of the Spider-man films but this one got such good reviews that I gave it a shot. Still don’t like Spider-man films. To sum this one up:
“Woah!” “Ouch!” “Aw shucks” “Whoops!” “Hi there!” “Sorry!”
All too flip and silly for my taste.
Mostly an interesting artifact from the 60s. I half expected Austin Powers to jump out any moment. Less a murder mystery than a reflection of art, reality, and something else I haven’t yet figured out. I also can’t decide if I loved or hated the tennis court scene at the end.
Wonderful. I’d never seen it and it’s wonderful. Sound design makes it. Really loved it.
I don’t mind grain so much but HP5+ @1200 in Diafine is pretty darn grainy.

I want to dislike Tom Cruise but I keep enjoying the films he’s in so ¯_(ツ)_/¯. This was good fun.
